Cookham is fortuate enough to be situated on the banks of the River Thames and offers residents the ability to be able to walk along some of the beautiful Berkshire Countryside. The Thames path is a long walk which strecthes 184 miles from start to finish. It winds its way along the River Thames from its starting place in the cotswolds all the way through to Thames Barrier at Woolwich London. Along the route you can be guaranteed to see beautiful scenery, lots of wildlife and many perfect stops for a bite to eat.
The path can be walked by people of all ages and Moor Hall provides an ideal location to stop along the way for a good nights sleep and a relaxing stop as you make your way from source to mouth.
